PureSpectrum and DVJ Insights are partnering to hear from football fans across four European countries (ENG, NL, DE and ES) to understand how they view the game, the connection of the club they support and what lessons that might provide for brands and marketers in all sectors. Showcasing PureSpectrum’s quality and international reach and DVJ’s unique and innovative mass qual techniques, we will hear first-hand the “voice of the fan” and find out what it takes to win as a football club and what those lessons might mean for all brands.

The study speaks to fans of top-flight teams in four leading European football nations. The large scale study will focus on how fans feel they are treated by the sport and their clubs, what is done well, what is missing, and the fan’s emotional connection, passion or lack thereof. We will compare what’s common and unique across countries and teams, which clubs are leading the way and why. Crucially, we will be able to see to what degree that translates to commercial success and what it might mean for future growth.

As a link to their views outside the game, we will also find out about brands that fans love and why. We will also interview in-depth some people in the sport who we believe are adopting best practice to put fans at the heart of their club.
